Calling all Grampians...

The 2011 Lake Ontario Rendezvous is planning now! YES now!

I want your input. Where, when and how long you can come for!

EVENT UPDATE - STATUS JUNE 1st!!

ALL boats that I have got a deposit down from will have a slip reserved for them at the Port Dalhousie Outer marina. Price per foot per night is $1.50

All registered boats will have at LEAST 1 hat available to them. I will have
made some more for people who show up but not register. Additional hats $15 each. contact me asap if you want more!!

This EVENT hat will have the blue G on the front and black lettering on the back
that will say Grampian Rendezvous 2011 Port Dalhousie. (embroidered cotton hat)

Friday evening will be casual gathering and go to a restaurant in town.

Saturday will have a sailpast with pictures (TBC) time to inspect the boats. POTLUCK BBQ dinner (bring it or buy locally) (USE forum and post what you want to bring) and present any prizes we may have received.

Sunday morning - breakfast and good-bye's

Any more suggestions? ideas? I am open to adding to the weekend.

2011 will be my first attempt at getting a Grampian specific Cruise / Rendezvous organized.

Not to say it is Grampian only - because if you have friends that want to cruise with you to our get together they are very welcome - but the stigma of not being "part of the group" might weigh heavy LOL!! please...

This is a point of destination, but I would invite all to use it as a focus to find other locally to cruise there. Part of the real attraction of Yachting to many is the social comradery you get from enjoying it TOGETHER.

I will have pages set up for those coming from differnt areas so you can contact and arrange to leave or meet up on the way to us.. Nothing would be cooler than a fleet of grampians coming into port.

30 years since the Last of them were made, but still A LOT of them being enjoyed!!
